PREJUDICE- For SEL
Let's seee..........

I shall follow your example. The prejudice started on 21st Nov 1993, the day I was born. Apparently to my old-fashioned parternal grandparents, being born a girl was quite a disappointment. Especially when I ws not chubby (well to my defense I was fair you know-up to the point that I looked freakishly pale). SO yes, because of the above reasons, they refused to look after me when I was a baby. (You know when your parents are both working and they need help looking after the kids, they refused to look after me because I was a girl. They prefered to look after my bro that was born 3 years later. So yeah. Not that I'm complaining.)

And they also didn't really look after me and stuff.
Food => my bro
Toys=>my bro
Attention => my bro
Not that I really cared. To a 7 year-old me, they were the creepy grandparents.
To me they were the family I got the most angbao money from but the least concern from too.

Then they wanted to raise me from the age of 7. As a maid mine you. Obviously my maternal grandparents refused. Apparently they wanted a free maid and they didnt want to raise me from a baby as it was a 'dirty job'. (WASTE TIME WASTE MONEY LIKE DUH)

So my relations with them were HNSRYPIJET[AJMR6AW=\-IJA (barely non-existent)
Which soon changed when they found out I was doing well in school. Better than my bro. Like I gave a damn.

Dad tries to fix our relations, but it doesn't really work because they don't know I KNOW.
So I try to keep it in, hoping that one day the skeletons in the proverbial closet will just rot and decompose and just vanish for good.

So yeah, our relations now are cordial, mainly because I wasn't supposed to know about this (which my grandma told me after I asked her why I ended up there and not with the parternal side).

LESSON LEARNT: Next time you have been prejudices against, just swallow it in and punch it out later. On your pillow of course. They are the ones with the problem, and something called Karma exists in this world. Prejudices tend to be unfounded, so there is no point caring about it. I learnt that 3 years after I found out at the age of 8. They will come around, and by then, will be guilt-ridden too (which leads to better treatment -but then again I don't care for it.)

This is probably an unorthodox lesson, oh well. My perspective is different. If they were around my age and I had learnt muay thai they would have been in Changi General ICU by now.

Because forgiving is different from forgetting. You can forgive it, but it still difficult to remove, kinda like scraping a burnt egg from a pan.

Difficult and nearly impossible.

CO CAMP
Oh look! My entire holiday just flew past!

Homework done = 1 + ? + ? = ??? Yeah. That about sums up my homework status. Do a bit here, do a bit there...

Most of my week is spent in school. Oh the irony. Its the holidays people! Why must thou torture thee so? T.T

So yeah, we had our CO day camp. Part bonding, part training. I think I've got finger muscles now, and my cello feels overworked. Poor fellow. Collapsing due to exhaustion. You get the idea.

At first I thought the Bonding camp and the splitting up to groups and games were a Really Stupid Idea concocted so that the comittee could torture the rest of CO... (now i regret not joining comm, these are the events that really make the comittment worthwhile hehehe so yeah ppl if you are evil {like Cindy} join comm! If thats the case I think our entire section will be in it already...)

But turns out it wasn't that bad la. Still remembered during the first day, everybody was like "when the hell is sectionals gonna start? I want sectionals damnit!" When told to interact with our new group members. Including me, I have never looked forward to sectionals in such an enthusiastic way before really. I was practically staring and the watch and thinking "come on why so slow... usually very fast one... aiiieeee....zzz" In the end we played some games and it wasn't thaat bad, but yeah, long way to go still.

The 2nd day was loads more fun. Hehehe. Played Wet Games. And I forgot to bring slippers. Hallelujah. Now this weekend no need to wash shoes liao. Damn fun. Wet station games hehehe.
Winning team gets to spray losing team. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA (I'm I evil or what? Wait, don't tell me, I know i'm evil hehehehe)

Overall we beat the team we were competing against (Si Hui's group), so yeah... Kufufufufufu... Can practise shooting skills with the water pistol... XDDD

And then after that we played 123 木头人, which was some game that Super Junior plays. Kind of like AEIOU, but you have to do what action they tell you, their actions include 翘屁股,接吻,金鸡独立.... So obviously we were quite humiliated. Yeah. So when Zhenyi gave us water and said we could spray it on anyone, was it any surprise that the orchestra targeted the comittee? Damn fun. Revenge is sweet indeed. XD

Of course, our lovablebutveryevil senior Terie came back, so we splashed her too. And our 2 juniors, who, as Cindy put it "看起来很干"

To be dry when playing wet games means
1) You are damn good at avoiding water
2) You have no enemies/friends that want to get revenge or
3) You got no fun-loving people in your section. XD

We obviously got 2 and 3 so yeah... Sec 1s were not spared either. Kekekekeke... Now we are known as the Crazy-and-Evil seniors le...But hey, you only need to put up with us for 2 more months and we'll be gone for good (until we come back during camp next year to torture you guys again).

By then we were so tired (and wet) Cindy and I only had enough strength to carry our cellos and stuff and a chair. Which gained many "Walao you all damn slack leh" comments. Cos 2 of us were carrying one chair.

Thy shall not seat cos thy's ass is wet.
Thou's friend does not care cos thou's friends legs are tired. Hahahahaha =P

Thus concludes the 2nd day.

3rd day bloody slack lol. Self prac. (Actually we got prac a bit la, but had to rotate cos one of the cellos is an antique and should have been used as firewood to provide energy when the power goes out cos Dr Boon didn't pay the electrical bill or bcos we got struck by lightning)

Better than Zhong Ruan, who sat in the air-conditioned CO room and did homework and played MAHJONG. Again.

You know why our dazu self prac breaks are longer? Its because even our conductor wants to play mahjong. (Actually i also want to play, but I think I'll win by default cas the other players died of blood loss -气到吐血 cos I'm damn noob. I played the game in friggin sec 2 cos we were learning probability)

So yeah after that take picture and go home...

And then come back on Fri for prac. *snore*

And the come back to school on SAT for RI exchange programme. Shall blog in detail later.

Good news : Its the holidays
Bad news : The good news is a scam. There is no such thing.

Honestly. Between CO prac and holiday homework and revision = no time.

And i think I'm really lucky. Out of everyone in the class I got silver nitrate on my hand. Oxidised silver nitrate, so now some fingers look like they've rusted or something. Quite disgusting. And cool. Disgustingly cool ba. It is very difficult to remove, so I must wait till my skin gets exofliated to get it out. Which will take a while. A long, long, while.

I didnt know what it was at first, so I thought it was rust. So I washed with soap to get it out. Obviously failed. So I went home and used other things. Like detergent. Thinner. Even freaking Dynamo. Which my skin feel rubbery, I think I wash too much le. The thinner suceeded in making my skin turn red. Which is scary. Like your skin is burning you know?

So I asked Ms Chan on Fri during recess to find out how to get rid of it. Which ended up in me going to the Chem Lab to put hydrogen peroxide on my fingers.

Or what I would have done, if the thing on my hands was KI (potassium iodide). It turned out to be silver nitrate. Freaking oxidised silver nitrate. At least its not poisonous. Just very stubborn. Difficult to get rid off. Like trying to kill ants.

Which leads me to now, where I am encouraging my skin to start shedding. Yup.

And Mum says that Ms Chan wasnt there for the PTC. Maybe her throat failed her?

Also went for the IT fair. Or at least I attempted too. The place was so crowded they asked people to come back in 1 hour. 0.o Not to mention, I met my older cousin there and he said he has been waiting for 1 hour already. Scary. So yeah. Bo bian have to go home lor. Will get my earpieces somewhere else then. T.T

Nothing much behind closed doors.

Wah I really damn long never update le. *Looks at archives* Not really my fault, everytime I have free time I either 1) sleep 2) listen to music on the bed. No motivation to get up and maintain the blog. Which is quite sad actually. If I can't even keep a blog alive, how do I keep a dog alive? Haizzz.

DHSCO concert tmr. Why. Out of all the days. Why. If I get the lowest I'll have to treat them to ice-cream (you know who you are). Better not say so much, if more ppl get included it won't be good for my wallet. At all. XD

And apparently my cello's spike has some problem. The screw is poilt. Which leads to very interesting (read : awkward) conversations.

Qing Kang : Cello 好了吗?
Hongwen : Wait! I'm screwing my cello!

...

Yeah. Add the fact that Cindy and my juniors were laughing like mad hyenas. Although that was probably the wrong choice of words. But how else am I supposed to say it?

Who invented the screwing thing anyway? (the one that makes it mean you-know-what)

So afterwards Qing Kang tried to help me screw the thing back, and Cindy went...

"Hongwen look! He's screwing your cello!" Insert crazy laughter and a red-faced QingKang. LOL.

But still cannot fix. So in the end we end up using masking tape as a temporary solution.

We also got our walkathon tee. It's blue, which is way better than the hideous orange they gave us during sec 1. But i think the sec 3s have got a nicer red colour. Oh wells.

And I lost my bio file. Where has that purple plastic waste-of-space gone to? Not that I care, but my notes are in it. Wonder which wormhole it fell into this time. I swear my house is leaking somewhere. Not water, but things just keep vanishing. And the reappear MONTHS TO YEARS LATER. Joy. Remember Hi-5? There was this creature called JupJup that kept on taking things right? I think its cousin lives in my house.

I PASSED EMATH. HALLELUJAH. XDD

Random overheard convos :

xuanjie (to cheryl) : wah you so noisy, how your boyfriend stand you one?
tingwei : thats why she don't have mah.
Cheryl: ... T.T

We are supposed to write bout PRIDE for SEL. I wish we got sloth. Or lust. Greed also easier to do. For sloth we can hand in an empty piece of paper. Just like the person that wrote "this is courage" and handed the paper in.

Squalo Superbia = proud shark XD

Bro is back from his camp. Sleeping like siao now. Better not call and disturb him even though I do want to find out how they tortured his soul there. Tmr he still got test. Sure fail one.
