My family just absolutely loves hospitals. =.= First my Grandpa (parternal side one) got in cos of a bad fall, then he got out and then back in because of another bad fall. Now he's out and not very well, seeing that he can't go to the toilet and needs a shit-bag (my bro's words, not mine) which of course, as the name suggests, contains shit. Then my Grandma (the maternal side) got a minor stroke on the left side which of course, brings you to the hospital. Now she's recovering but unfortunately she's been acting like an immature spoilt kid. Life. How ironic. The latest additon to the hospital was my bro, who got in with appendicitis! Can you believe it? At first the doctor didn't think that it was appendicitis, but in the end it was. Make us all worry like siao. But now he's fine, seeing that he's been complaining bout the food my mum cooks and asking for burgers.

According to him, the hospital stay was damn sian. Cos the ppl in his ward are mostly those who got concussions and broken arms. So they were out the very next day lol. There was one guy who was playing maple on his laptop. He was hospitalised for tonsilitis (sp?) Just need to know that he WAS FINE, then i think he played too much maple and ended up in the ICU. =.= Have to hand it to him.

My bro lost 2.5 kg cos he didnt really eat for 5 DAYS. He was exclaimimg to the doctor "what? You mean my appendix is 2.5 kg?" Everyone burst out laughing. Now he is treated as the king lol, cos he got excuse le. But he's in hell as far as he is concerned. Cos he can only eat bread and porridge. I'll die if I was him la.

So my family really really has quite a lot of medical accidents. I think half of the members ended up in hospital once la(and not counting ages 0 to 5).

Anyways I should start on holiday homework. Thats what I keep telling myself anyway. I'm damn good at procrastinating. Haiizzzz. Life sucks when you add holiday homework into the equation. Tuition starts this week too. Sianzzz.

OH what do you know! An update! Hahaha. I've been feeling lazy lately, so even if I do have the time I don't update lol. Several things happened recently (as always).

NEWSFLASH:
14 ppl in our class have flown off to Chiang Rai already, hope they are enjoying themselves there, for we (the 3J ppl in spore) certainly are as we have been having parties everyday since they left.

Not that we were celebrating cos you guys left of course XD

I think I must have gained MORE weight since they left, due to the fact that I have been pigging out for a consecutive 4 days since they left. Not as much as Suan Ching though. Better exercise!

CO's concert is looming nearer. At least our sectional song is more-or-less gao ding le. Now I just have to confirm the members of my family that are going...

RANDOM: the sec 4s are back! Okay its not really random but....

Oh and I do hate some of the songs we are playing. Like feng and Mista.

The Cello/Basss section does not discriminate. We hate both songs equally.

Went on a tour of Singapore on Sat organised by the Bishan CC. Quite a waste of time.
Go and visit farms------hydroponics farm and mushroom farm. =.=
And sit on the Spore flyer. Damn boring. My bro and cousins were playing Bakugan on the flyer, and they attracted a lot of attention from the young kids lol.

The good part was going to Lau Pa Sa for dinner. Finally something was right with the world!

Thus concludes the tour. =.= i know.

I got promoted to the next class in tennis! But I'm the worst one there so that's not saying much mah. Haiizzzz. My class is nearly all guys la can. I think all pri sch one, some of them also have sucky attitudes towards newcomers (me and another girl)

Wait till I get better. I'll cream your face. You have no authority or bragging rights either. Ptfff.

Things I have learnt :

Want to attract attention? Simple! Just carry a cello on your back. Trust me, I know.

Carrying the cello slows down your walking speed by a least a half. This makes chasing MRTs and buses very difficult indeed.

Eating lau po bing that has been left over in one's bag for a day is guaranteed to give you a stomachache. Ouch indeed.

All these lessons have been experienced first-hand I tell you. Ouch. Ouch and ouch.

I have a dental appointment tmr morning. Better sleep soon lol.

Goodnight!

Posting in com lab. Hahaha. Poor Mr Neo. Oh wells.
Just had a party in class. XD At this rate, everybody will look like pigs la can. My chocolates are half gone already.

Off again~

Finally its the weekend! No need to wake up bloody early. One more week of school left!

Several things happened in these few days. Now I am not going to camp already, cos apparently my family wants me to stay at home to be the maid. No, seriously. During Wed (where express students need not go to school) they were like slave drivers. "HongWen! Clean the floor!" "Hongwen, help me pao milo!" "Hongwen collect the laundry!" "Hongwen fold the clothes!" "Hongwen wash this and this and that...." You get the idea la. Now I have a whole new respect for my grandma. I will just die of boredom if i do this everyday. You only get excitement when you find some old dead bug underneath the sofa. >.<>

So anyway, moving on. Nearly half of the class is going off to Chiang Rai for CIP. I also feel like going.

Alvin and XinWei are the most Joker-ish people in 3J. And possibly the most stupidest 2 too.
Power of zero? No. It was the degree sign. ROFL.

The Kiterunner sounds interesting. Looking forward to the rest of the movie on Mon. =D

Saw pictures of the teacher's dinner. Got some candid shots la. But there were also some nid-scarring ones. Like the ones of DR BOON in a hot pink tube dress with black stokings and high heels. Very scary. Should have rated the picture R21. Ms Ng (the home ec teacher) also dressed like that(but in purple) but she looked so much nicer la. Haha.

And Mr Neo with pig ears! Hahaha.

Got a life from Jac's aunt home. I like her car (its bright red). And her dog(a lovely Pomenarian puppy). We nearly ran over NCC (the sec 2s) cos they were blocking the road. She was kind enough to treat me to apple strudle. =D Should eat it again sometime.

Went to the Science Centre on Fri for a course : DNA in Forensic Science! Very interesting. Shuting has the pictures. The spastic blackmail worthy pictures. At least I didnt spill the solution too badly unlike SOMEONE XDDD

Also saw a lot of NS men at the Sci Centre. Dunnoe what are they there for.

Bought hair highlights at Sci Centre! Hahaha. They work fine, I tried. Heehee.

The Temeriare series by Naomi Novik is good. =D Much better than Eragon in any case. No Mary-Sues!

And the pics still refuse to work. Why?

Gah there's something wrong with the posting of the pics. It keeps on saying that there is a prob with the internet connection. Anyone has any ideas how to solve it?

OH and I got selected for some music day-camp.

Pros: Getting to meet others, able to improve skills
Cons: Having to lug my cello EVERYDAY for 5 days from home to and fro to DUNMAN HIGH.
Most likely I'll be the worst one there(terms of skill lvl). >.<
Missing ANOTHER 1 WEEK of school. TLY and Ms Chan are as happy as vengeful ghosts.
Not being able to catch up on schoolwork AGAIN

How did I get selected again? fkgnbohnEu

Nevermind. I shall make the best out of it and PIA until i catch up with the rest. Then can slack liao.

The teacher is asking if anyone wants to buy a $700 cello. Donations anyone? *hinthint* XDD

I'm gonna die for AMaths. At least now I have a new teddy bear to torture -ahem- play with.

Tata~

Finally I'm back from Korea. Haha. It was a seriously fun and educational trip. Korea totally pwns China by 10000x. Learnt some things about the Koreans when we were there.

Fun Facts(not really):
#1 Women's status in Korea is really low. Its mainly a male dominated society. Main life goal of Korean women is to find a husband and start a family. Their status in the family is even lower than those of young kids. Jeez. And when a woman gets married, they still have to give items to the male family of her husband's choice.

#2 Apparently Koreans also put a lot of importance in looks. On a scale of 1 to 10, Looks=10, Food(whether your tummy is full) = 1. No wonder they eat kimchi and plain rice for every meal. Any money they have is spent on clothes and cosmetics. And Koreans are actually quite poor. Thus the kimchi and rice. But I'm digressing. Did you know that most Koreans go for plastic surgery regardless of gender? Thats why when you walk on the streets, everyone looks the same. Parents give their children money for plastic surgery when they come of age as a gift, so if you want to know how a person really looked like, you have to see her before she turns 18. Superficial much?

#3 Koreans eat very little meat. Apparently they can count on one hand the number of times that they ate meat. They instead eat Ginseng. Korea is famous for their ginseng after all. No wonder they are so healthy(or malnutritioned, I can't decide).
Its really really really cold in Korea. Highest temp- 15'C Lowest temp- 5'C Nearly froze our asses off on the first day cos we underestimated the weather and the chilly, chilly wind. *Brrr* No snow though, but it was cold enough for you to blow out smoke =D So we all ran to a clothing store on the very first day to buy gloves and hats. Uncle even bought a new coat lol. The cold woke us all even though we were damn tired cos midnight flight = NO SLEEP. Went to see the palaces of Korea. Quite cool, although not as elegant? as the ones in China. Also went to their musuem. Pity no pictures were allowed inside.

Airport in Seoul. Thank goodness for English on the signs.

My cousin on the bench haha. No sleep on midnight flights after all.

Palace in Korea. Got sneaked went i was complaining about the weather.

Veg for lunch! I think I must have eaten more veg on this holiday than in the 3 years in AHS.

The best part was going to Everland, Korea's biggest theme park. That was damn cool lah. =DDDD

They were celebrating halloweeen there. =D Damn cool. Will continue the post later. Apparently the com needs a break. Uploading pics does suck after all.
