School is officialy opening in less than 12 hours. Oh darn. Where has my holiday gone?

Practically non-existent I say.

I need help in AMaths. Desperate here. Do we need to hand in all the written work on Mon? I can only guess the answers for the test questions on HeyMath, so I can't really do the working. I mean, you can't put your working as "I had a gut feeling that this is the answer" right?

There is a certain English Vocab Test that could be held on Mon. And I didn't bring my book back. Thank goodness Jac typed it on her blog.

Oh yeah, we were supposed to watc the movie "Get Smart" together with Sya and Ziyad (i think)
In the end it was cancelled cause Jac said her father gave her a lcture. About what, I have no idea though.

To think I agreed to go to my parents meeting for it! Gah. Call it an exchange.

Our parents are Buddhists, and apparently there are different types of Buddhists. What a headache. They are the ones in SSA, with my uncles and aunts. Quite high up one. Then they have their meeting whie I was doing my homework in the corner. Then the people were whispering" Is that her daughter?" Try harder to whiper next time, I can still hear you, you know. From their reactions you'd think they never saw a young person in their life (which could be true, they were quite a bunch of oldies).

And I've learnt that my father's chinese needs work. I hardly needed to hear what my parents were saying, cause I already know what they were going to say. Perks of being their kid. =)

Then after the meeting (which was at 9.30) they talked to the others, and it was around 10 when we finally left. I was damn bored la, trying to do AMaths.

I feel 'deflated' in a way when I think about school starting tomorrow. OFFICIALLY.

Oh and A*STAR is FUN =D Made gel and learnt about solar cells.
They use really CHIM words. Cannot understand what they were saying half the time haha.
Got a look around NUS ( a bit) and tasted their food. Not bad la.
Oh and I love their lab coats. ^_^
Although I wished that somebody would just roll of the slope and not come back. Bloody irritating, that fellow.

Oh and there is an award ceremony on Fri for the Science Chronicles winners. Congrats to all who made it! There are four from our school. We get a certificate, a memento and a BUFFET.

Guess which one I'm more excited about. XD

MY PHONE
My phone got stolen. Or maybe I dropped it somewhere. My memory is blank.

So yeah. Don't bother to contact me till Sat where I'll be going to Singtel to get the cheapest phone available.

I miss my handphone already.

May the person who stole it have eye cramps from the light of the handphone.
May the person who stole it have hand cramps from holding it.
May the person who stole it be totally unlucky in whatever they do.

GAH. MY HANDPHONE!!!!!!

I looked everywhere for it. It was as elusive as Mas Selamat. So, duh, can't find it.
I walked good knows how many rounds to search for it.

I think I need a doctor. My brain has a memory problem. There is a -blank- there somehow.

So.......

My phone has a neoprint on it. Good luck to that person to scrape it off.

And we haven't reported it to the police yet. If it was stolen, why would they give it back? *snorts*

Besides, I don't think that the police have so much time to go look for things. They're probably busy with searching for You-Know-Who.

Now I know how you feel Jac.

And readers, don't bother telling me that I should have....or that I am very.....I already know that.
I got about 5 variations from my family members already.

At least I'll have something to write for Zhou Ji. The price is high.

Jac's compo got SHORTLISTED FOR SCI CHRONICLES!!!
Now is that great or is that great? =D

We are going to high tea~~~

And I still haven't finished my homework.

Went to watch Kungfu Panda yesterday at ViVO with my cousins.
The show is actually quite nice. And the four of us actually finished the popcorn before the ads ended. We finished our cheesy hotdogs before the ads came. So we only had a packet of chips between four of us for the entire movie.

"There is no charge for awesomeness." As quoted from The Panda =P

3J's class BBQ was yesterday.
Jac and I actually wanted to go earlier to rent bicycles actually, but then by the time we reached it was already 3.40 pm, which kind of defeats the purpose of going earlier so we decided to wait for the rest to come so that we can go together. (Another reason was that we didn't know which bus to take to get there but nevermind).

Some people were a bit late, actually at first there was only YiJun, MeiXuan and YiLin. They were standing on opposite sides of the noticeboard so I thought there was only one person there. Then came Shu Ting and Charlene and Jia Hao and Jose (are there anymore?) and so we set off!

Highlights of the day:

Tried to get the fire started
Tried to get the charcoal to burn
Tried not to get myself roasted because of the heat
Tried not to choke myself on smoke
Tried to swing higher than Jac =P
Tried to save the fire ( I couldn't since I can't blow strongly)
Played Taitee and lost quite... spectacularly lol.
Ate charred marshmellows that were brilliant =)
Ate a bloody chicken wing like what Pris did
Ate and ate and ate and ate....
Lost my cup twice even though I wrote my name on it.
BBQ a lobster ( the one on the boat that capsized)
Yelled at Janus to keep a better eye out for his children XD
Looking at people smearing (destroying) perfectly good chocolate cake on each other's faces
Eating chicken rice without the chicken
Watching cars that mocked us (me and jac and suan ching and cheryl and jiahui) *sniff*
Finding out that my parents, which were supposed to send Jac and I home, were in fact in east coast park. Hallelujah! (no offence)
Was told to follow my heart on how to get to the bus stop. (Bloody brilliant)
Hitching a ride in Mr hamdan's car to Tampines (Thanks Mr Hamdan!)
Getting scolded by my parents for the misconception in venue.
Getting scolded by my GRANDparents for the misconception in venue.
Barely made it alive (nearly got turned to chopped liver and onions by parents)

That should be all ba.

I really freaked out on the way to the busstop although it was only a short walk.

I was walking alone, mind you. The only sources of light were from the street lamps. The wind was chilly, the sky was red and everything was so DAMN BLOODY QUIET.

Just like a scene from a horror movie. Or a kidnapping. Both not happy.

It was just all too scary for me. There was also the very real fear of getting lost in an area that i'm not familliar with. I imagined myself not reaching home until the next morning, my parents murdering me... stuff that you can imagine when the logic side of your brain dies.

Then Mr Hamdan saw me and told me to get in his car. Mr Hamdan must be rich, he doesn't drive. Somebody else does it for him. 0.o

So I reached Tampines much faster than I expected.

I really am, in a weird way, lucky. Although it wouldn't be needed if there was no miscommunication but...

Luck. One of the things that saved my life more often then not.

And of course Mr Hamdan =) Without him I would have probably gotton lost.

Next time, when going anywhere (far), I want a lot of escorts.

My holiday is really quite... dull. And sleep-inducing. If not for the fact that I have CCA and tuiton, I would probably mix up the days of the week too.

I know there is QUITE a short time left till school reopens, and I should probably try to do my homework, but I can't. Dang.

And my horoscope in the Teenage magazine says " complete your work before it piles up"

Hello? How helpful! Another motivating factor.

Have to do SS, Chem (damn the moles), Chi jian bao, read those bloody Shao Nian Wen Zhai's, do the Chi journal, do the EMaths and AMaths tests, do my tuition homework, EL reflection thingy, go for sectionals and dazu and survive getting screamed at, make sure my skin condition doesn't worsen, improve my stamina and learn how to cook a decent meal.

Wow. My holiday is so... FULFILLING ( n a weird, perverse and ironic way of course)

Class BBQ is tomorrow! Yays. Hope the fire can start. 2L's BBQ was a success mostly because XingKai was fanning it and he ended up looking nearly like charcoal and sweating as though he ran a marathon. Somebody has to fill the "saikang" post lol.

Jac and I are going earlier to cycle. Haha =)
